Abstract
⺠Analyses of master equation and 1-D post-normal shock flows by state-to-state kinetics of N2. ⺠Rotational and vibrational relaxations of N + N2 is almost identical at the high temperature above 30,000 K. ⺠Phenomena of the quasi-steady state and local energy increasing of rotational and vibrational energies. ⺠Reaction rate coefficients and energy removal ratio due to chemical reaction are extended up to 50,000 K. ⺠Rotational nonequilibrium of N2 is obviously observed in the hypersonic shock-tube and re-entry calculations.
