Abstract
⺠The quenching rate coefficients of singlet O2 in collisions with O2, N2, CO, CO2 are calculated. ⺠Quantum-chemical Rosen-Zener approximation is applied in the calculation. ⺠Electronic-vibrational and vibrational-vibrational energy transfer processes are considered. ⺠Main mechanisms of the quenching are studied.
