Abstract
⺠Nucleation and crystal growth is studied in glasses annealed just above Tg. ⺠During crystal growth, excess network modifiers are shoved away from the crystal. ⺠A floppy region around the crystal provides fast growth. ⺠The growth is decelerated when the network around the crystal is rigid. ⺠The crystal size is a function of excess network former concentration.
