Abstract
► Solvation of graphite sheets and carbon nanotubes in supercritical water has been studied. ► Wetting behavior is looked at for varying solute-water interactions and thickness of solute layers. ► Both wetting and drying of pore regions are found depending on the surface-water interaction. ► The details of solvation structures are found to depend on the density of supercritical water. ► The thickness of the walls is found to have only minor effects on the wetting characteristics.
