Abstract
⺠Excitons of light-harvesting complexes (LH2) hybridize with plasmon modes. ⺠Light absorption of LH2 is enhanced by a metal nanoparticle. ⺠Using nanoshells allows reaching resonance between molecular and plasmons. ⺠Metal nanoparticles introduce additional channel of excitation decay. ⺠Light-harvesting may gain from the proper positioning of nanoshells.
