Abstract
► We have determined an isotropic intermolecular potential for the interaction of hydrogen. ► The thermophysical and transport properties are calculated for this system. ► The rovibrational energy levels and scattering cross-sections are determined. ► We have adopted a model for the induced dipole moment μ(r) with adjustable parameters. ► The quantum lineshapes of absorption and scattering are calculated.
