Abstract
⺠C2F5â ions are formed by dissociative electron capture in perfluoropropane. ⺠Both their reactivity towards neutrals and IRMPD spectroscopy are investigated. ⺠The sampled C2F5â ions are best described as covalently bound pentafluoroethyl anions.
