Abstract
⺠Laser light induces conical intersections (LICI) in diatomic molecules. ⺠Due to LICI, rovibronic molecular motions are strongly coupled. ⺠An effect of LICI on molecular alignment is examined theoretically. ⺠We perform numerical simulation for Na2 dressed by light. ⺠Strong impact of LICI on alignment is observed for âÏL = 1.968 eV.
