Abstract
⺠The novel finite and infinite beryllium endohedral silicene-like silicon nanotubes have been studied by DFT. ⺠Their stability increases along with the tube length increasing. ⺠The infinite nanowires exhibit a characteristic of semiconductor with band gap of 0.024 eV. ⺠The deformation electron density of (3, 0) nanowires are sp2 hybridization.
