Abstract
► Intrinsic transition dipole moment of CT excitons in sexithiophene is evaluated. ► The underlying model is rooted in Mulliken's theory of charge transfer transitions. ► The results agree with the values obtained by fitting the experimental spectra. ► The approach presented is applicable for other one-component molecular crystals.
