Abstract
⺠Theoretical investigation on electron collision on benzene is carried out. ⺠Elastic differential, integral, and total cross sections are calculated in the 20-1000 eV energy range. ⺠Complex optical potential derived from molecular target wave function is used. ⺠Comparison of our data with experiments shows the relevant influence of absorption effects.
