Abstract
► We explore the noise-induced barrier crossing dynamics of an open quantum system. ► The bath coupled with the system is driven out of equilibrium by an external noise. ► Nonlinear system-bath coupling and modulation of the bath affect the escape rate. ► An additional exponential factor, other than Arrhenius is also temperature dependent. ► This temperature dependence is purely quantum in origin.
