Abstract
Energy transfer mediated by the presence of surface plasmons on metallic nanofilms is strongly accelerated compared to ordinary energy transfer. Directional radiation of donor-acceptor system upon donor excitation contains full spectral information on the system and allows for detection of weak emission signals.
