Abstract
It was possible to define some trends concerning the exchange components of the [ErCr] chain according to which the antiferromagnetic isotropic exchange constant is smaller than 0.7(1)Â cmâ1 and the anisotropic components are [Dexc, Eexc]Â =Â [â0.4(1), 0.0(1)]Â cmâ1. Also for the case of [YbCr] and [YbFe] chains the antiferromagnetic isotropic exchange constant is smaller than 0.1(1)Â cmâ1 and 0.25(1)Â cmâ1, respectively while the anisotropic components are [Dexc, Eexc]Â =Â [â0.3(1), 0.0(1)]Â cmâ1 and [Dexc, Eexc]Â =Â [â0.1(1), 0.0(1)]Â cmâ1, respectively.
