Abstract
The vibronic quantum dynamics in molecular dimer systems taking place after the interaction with an ultrashort pulse is studied. Therefore, an established model incorporating a single monomer vibrational degree of freedom and a single exciton coupling is employed. The time-scale for the exciton transfer and internal vibrational dynamics is investigated as a function of the laser pulse parameters. The appearance of pump-probe signals is analyzed in terms of molecular geometry and properties of the external fields.
