Exploration of inclusion complexes of neurotransmitters with β-cyclodextrin by physicochemical techniques

Spectroscopic and physicochemical studies reveal that β-cyclodextrin forms inclusion complexes with three important neurotransmitters in aqueous medium. Job's method indicates 1:1 stoichiometry of the inclusion complexes and NMR study confirms the inclusion phenomena. Association constants and thermodynamic parameters have been evaluated by UV-Vis spectroscopy.67
