Abstract
- Surface oxidized Si nanocrystals incorporated within reduced graphene oxide nanosheets are developed.
- Enhanced photothermal energy conversion from the SiOx/Si-RGO nanocomposites is observed.
- The SiOx/Si-RGO nanocomposites are promising materials for photothermal therapy and for the efficient conversion of solar energy into usable heat for variety applications.
