Au nanoparticles and graphene quantum dots co-modified glassy carbon electrode for catechol sensing

The Au-GQDs were applied to the modification of GCE for detection of catechol. The synergist material effectively improved the electronic and catalytic properties of GCE. As a result, the catechols were effectively detected with the new sensing platform. This method is promising for the detection of catechol in environmental monitoring and safety assessment.
