Abstract
- The UV dissociation of ONOOâ(aq) is investigated by femtosecond spectroscopy.
- The potential photoproducts are traced in the IR and UV regions.
- The data analysis is facilitated by electron structure calculations.
- The dominant photoproducts are NO
- (aq) and O2
- â(aq).
- The quantum yield of the photo dissociation is 90 ± 10%.
