Abstract
- Mn38Fe22Al40Cx alloys with x = 0, 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7, 1.5 and 2.5 were investigated.
- Mn38Fe22Al40Cx alloys crstallize both in CsCl(B2) and (Fe/Mn)3Al(DO3).
- The maximal magnetic-entropy change is 0.71 J/kg K (0-1.5 T) for x = 0.3 at 297 K.
- The adiabatic temperature change of Mn38Fe22Al40Cx alloys is around 0.19Â K in 1.5Â T.
