Abstract
- A photocatalyst contains two different active sites supported on siliceous TUD-1 was prepared.
- The active sites are: nanoparticles of titania (2-4Â nm) and highly isolated Cr(VI).
- The photocatalytic performance was evaluated in the oxidation of propane under UV illumination.
- A FTIR spectroscopic study is conducted to prove the synergy between Cr(VI) and Ti(IV).
