Abstract
- A collisional cooling cell has been coupled to a far infrared synchrotron source.
- The greenhouse gas 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane (HFC-134a) was collisionally cooled to 176Â K.
- The ν8 band of HFC-134a has been recorded at high resolution and analysed.
- Spectral perturbations have been fitted via Coriolis coupling with nearby states.
