Abstract
- Interaction of nonionic surfactant Tween 40 with HSA is studied.
- Spectroscopic and calorimetric methods have been applied.
- The interaction is not stepwise in nature unlike that with ionic surfactant.
- ITC results show that the interaction is governed by weak forces.
- The interaction is entropically unfavorable and enthalpically favorable.
