Abstract
- The neptunyl ion tends to bind to the nitrate ion in a bidentate fashion.
- Neptunyl dinitrate is the most stable in NpO2(NO3)nq (n = 1-3, q = +1, 0, â1).
- The NpO2(NO3)2(H2O)2 is dominant in the hydrated neptunyl dinitrate complexes.
