Abstract
- A CdSe/ZnS quantum dots based photodetector was fabricated by a clamping method.
- The photodetector has a broad light detection range in accordance with the absorption spectrum of the quantum dots layer.
- The photodetector is more sensitive to incident wavelengths than incident power densities.
- The discrete electronic states of quantum dots contribute the wavelength detecting ability of the photodetector.
