Abstract
- Well aligned titania nanotube with nanograss can be prepared through anodization.
- TiO2 nanograss growth rate and morphology can be controlled by anodization parameters.
- At higher water content, ring splitting of tubes is observed instead of vertical splitting.
- Mechanism for vertical and 'ring' splitting of titania nanotube is proposed.
