Abstract
- During 0.02 mm/s ice growth rate, at the ice-water interface, 1.68 °C temperature jump was recorded.
- This is experimental proof for interfacial Tjump existence during liquid-solid phase transition.
- This supports the idea of the surface as a separate thermodynamic system.
