- Spectral properties and solvatochromism of arylazo pyridone dyes are studied.
- LSER concepts are used to study interactions between dye and solvent molecules.
- LFER enables analysis of substituent effects on UV-vis, 1H and 13C NMR shifts.
- A good validity of the applied models is demonstrated.
