Abstract
- AlF4, MgF3, and LiF2 superhalogens interact strongly with benzene molecule.
- The resulting C6H6+AlF4â, C6H6+MgF3â, and C6H6+LiF2â systems are of ionic nature.
- Interaction of benzene and LiCl2 leads to a weakly bound C6H6â¯LiCl2 complex.
- Effective ionization of benzene requires the use of rather strong superhalogen.
