Abstract
- We investigate conformation-specific UV spectra of K+-B18C6 stored in a cold QIT.
- We obtain three different UV-UV hole burning (HB) spectra.
- The two spectra represent those of K-a and K-b conformers, respectively.
- The third spectrum exhibits the transitions of a 'hot' K-b conformer.
- We demonstrate the applicability of the UV-UV HB technique to ions existing as multiple conformers.
