Abstract
- Au nanoparticles loaded on zeolite was developed as an inorganic matrix for LDI-MS.
- Amino acids in mixture were strongly detected by H+ or Na+ adduction.
- Produced matrix could be also an efficient Au+ donor to ionize analyte.
- Zeolite worked as a heat bath to prevent the destruction of Au nanoparticles.
- Urea and acetylsalicylic acid were clearly detected by Au+ adduction.
