Abstract
- The heat of formation of silole is predicted to be 44 ± 2 kcal/mol.
- IE, EA, PA, DPE, binding and dissociation energies of silole are theoretically determined.
- Both homolytic and heterolytic dissociations of silole take place at Si.
- Both protonation and H-atom addition preferentially take place at the Cα-site.
