Abstract
- We introduce the 5-hydroxytryptophan into the chromophores of fluorescent proteins.
- Replacing aromatic amino acid of chromophore with 5-hydroxytryptophan.
- We study the one and two-photon absorption of 5-hydroxytryptophan chromophores.
- Substitution will obtain longer wavelength of one-photon absorption peak.
- Substitution improve the TPA properties comparing to their original chromophores.
