Abstract
- Cyclohexene decomposition is commonly used as a reference in shock tube studies.
- The rate of cyclohexene decomposition is currently known to within a factor of two.
- We measure the rate of cyclohexene decomposition with an uncertainty of ±25%.
- We employ the latest laser diagnostics and shock tube techniques to perform measurements.
