Abstract
- A novel family of green-emitting cerium-doped garnet phosphors was synthesised.
- Links between structural properties and photoluminescence were investigated.
- Emission shifts were related to doping-site distortion and electronegativity.
- Red- and blue-shifts were achieved by changing the cations in the garnet host.
