Abstract
- Electron ionization cross sections of o-xylene, m-xylene and p-xylene are measured.
- The product ion branching ratios are essentially identical among the three xylenes.
- The similar branching ratios can be explained by a common fragmentation mechanism.
- The fragmentation pathways are discussed.
