Abstract
- Confined water in zeolite-templated carbon (ZTC) was studied by XRD, DSC, NMR and MD.
- Water of 140Â wt.% is adsorbed. It is highly mobile and liquid like down to 200Â K.
- Crossover between low-density (LD) and high-density (HD) states is discussed.
- The glass transition temperature to LD amorphous (LDA) is around 150Â K.
- ZTC provides a new platform to study three-dimensional 'supercooled' water.
