Abstract
⺠7-Azaindole···Pyrazole is found to exhibit excited state tautomerization. ⺠Binding energy and association constant of the complex are similar to those of 7-AI2. ⺠TDDFT calculation predicts the tautomeric form in S1 is 13.4 kcal/mol more stable. ⺠Here, pyrazole acts as a catalyst and the complex emits only tautomer fluorescence.
