Abstract
- A family of clusters with general formula [Mo6Cl8(H2O)n(OH)6ân]nâ2 (n = 0-6) were theoretically studied.
- Energy diagrams were built to show the luminescent process that might occur in the studied systems.
- Dependences of the spectroscopic properties with the change of the coordination sphere were described.
- The pH dependence with the luminescence suggests that the clusters could act as good pH-sensors.
