Abstract
⺠Photo-dissociation of C-H bond of the methane has been investigated theoretically. ⺠A number of results in the emerging field of laser pulse with intensity 8 Ã 10 13 W cmâ2 and pulse duration 100 fs are presented. ⺠The dissociation probability is carried out by time dependent Schrödinger equation using grid spectral method. ⺠The effect of laser field and pulse width on the dissociation probability is explained. ⺠The dissociation probability is improved by modifying pulse shape in two-rectangular pulse shape.
