Abstract
⺠B3LYP-DCP method does not give spurious effects in formic acid trimers. ⺠B3LYP-DCP works quite well for Ï-stacking formic acid tetramers. ⺠Improved predictions for formic acid pentamer structures. ⺠Planar structures are unimportant for formic acid pentamers.
