Abstract
⺠The vibrational Raman spectrum is reproduced. ⺠The algebraic approach U(2)ÃU(3)ÃU(2) is used. ⺠The connection with configuration space is kept. ⺠The derivatives of the polarizability are estimated. ⺠A comparison with previous experiments and calculations is presented.
