Abstract
⺠The disproportionation of propene to propane and simple aromatics on ZnO was detected with NMR spectroscopy. ⺠ZnO catalyzes propylene conversion to aromatics. ⺠Ï-Allylzinc species and allene oligomers were detected as intermediates of the aromatization. ⺠Propane is formed via the direct hydrogenation of the initial propene.
