Abstract
⺠A simple and template-free chemical synthesis of poly(thionine) nanowires (PTHNWs). ⺠PTHNWs are formed by the successive oxidation of monomer or oligomeric units. ⺠They are formed through secondary amino-bridging and contain free amine groups. ⺠It's electrochemical activity implies a promising applications in biosensors.
