Abstract
⺠Halogen substituted alkoxy radicals likely play a role in tropospheric chemistry. ⺠The first electronic spectrum is reported for a halo-alkoxy radical. ⺠An analysis of the Bâ¼-Xâ¼ excitation spectrum of FCH2CH2O is reported. ⺠Values for the Xâ¼ state rotational and spin rotation constants are determined. ⺠Bâ¼ state origin, vibrational frequencies and rotational constants are determined.
