Abstract
⺠Varied O2 adsorption properties due to the change in the magnetic state of Pt. ⺠Pt d-states are spin-polarized in the ferromagnetic Pt/M {where M = Fe, Co}. ⺠Effective O-O bond elongation and O2 anti-parallel spin moment is achieved in Pt/M. ⺠The transition temperature of ferromagnetic Pt/M is much beyond room temperature.
