Abstract
⺠A finite difference model was developed to study heat transfer of multiscale wires using PLTR method. ⺠The radiation heat loss to the surroundings was taken into account. ⺠This model has been proven to be an improvement over the existing model. ⺠The model may be used to predict the heat transfer in both axial and radial directions.
