Abstract
⺠Singlet oxygen is generated upon 1270 nm laser irradiation in organic solvents. ⺠The formation of 1O2 is monitored by chemical trapping with DPIBF and rubrene. ⺠The trap disappearance rate is derived from a simple analytical expression. ⺠Singlet oxygen production rate and reactivity with chemical traps is determined.
