Abstract
⺠We have modeled quantum dots with two different external potentials, namely parabolic and square-well. ⺠We used the extended coupled cluster linear response method to calculate polarizability. ⺠We studied the effect of impurity which is added in a Gaussian form to the external potential on the polarizability.
