Abstract
► In spite that periodic nonlinear oscillators were coupled, aperiodic as well as periodic entrainment were evolved. ► Phase map (Arnold map) of entrainment was obtained for excitatory-coupled iron electrochemical oscillators. ► Anisotropic magnetic field effect was found in frequency reduction of iron electrochemical oscillator. ► Arnold map under non-magnetized conditions predicted the magnetic field induced synchronization pattern hopping.
